Written in a deliberately sparse, the novel (published by Knopf) tells the story, never completely convincing or involving, two young people "different", Alice and Matt, and marked a darkened fire terrible misfortunes that have suffered in childhood. Their only chance of recovery to life, rebirth and rediscovery staff could (not will never have a confirmation ...) instead result from a union that slip away, out of fear or misunderstanding forced and spurious.
The title is intriguing, and the premise of the story is apt, but it all seems exaggerated and inconsistent. They give ideas for overcoming the mistakes of two boys (the guilt set against a boy of ten years or so), abandoned to their fate by absent parents and, instead, surely guilty. Prime numbers are those numbers divisible only by one and themselves, and scholars to represent an intriguing mathematical peculiarities; the twin primes, those images should be according to the author Alice and Mattia, s ono instead prime numbers "close" to each other, separated by a single number, not before. And the two main characters are in fact close, sometimes even close, but, as in mathematics, will always be separated (as I write, my part mathematics has a start: the 1, 2 and 3 are prime numbers, next .. . even if they wanted to exclude the first, which is in fact a number of "sui generis" as a divisor is always the same, 2 and 3 should not have a "hope"?
