I just finished this book by Charlaine Harris, American writer, which is being published in Italy for the first time. "Until you set the darkness" is the first in a vampire series that starring a young waitress, Sookie Stackhouse, at a time when the U.S. government confirmed the EXISTING of vampires, who finally recognized, they can show people and "living" normal lives, with their activities and their blood in the bottle. Sookie Stockhouse is a waitress in a small town in Louisiana. He is a quiet and reserved, blonde with blue eyes who is there on his own and has no friends to hang out with ... not because it is pretty, no, indeed. The problem is just that ... here, Sookie suffers from what he considers a kind of 'illness': it is able to read minds people, and this does not make it easy with a person who can keep a relationship. And then along comes Bill. He is tall, dark, handsome ... Furthermore, Sookie can not hear a single word of what he is thinking. Exactly the kind of man who has waited all his life. But Bill also has a problem: it is a vampire who has a bad reputation and attended freaks, even suspected of heinous crimes. And when one of Sookie's coworkers is killed, she begins to fear to be the next victim ...
Paper really nice, light and very smooth, perfect for summer. Sooner or later, shall also order the following entitled "Living Dead" the second in the series published in Italian .. But first I want to dedicate myself to reading a much more powerful and a little more macabre .. Next post I'll get in:)
